When to schedule your consult?
For some diseases, vaccination needs to begin many months prior to travel, including hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and Japanese encephalitis. Depending on your destination and plans, your travel consult should occur anywhere between 4-6 months to the week of your travel.
Also, ask us about evacuation insurance. An emergency evacuation from a foreign country may cost upwards of $30,000 if you don’t have protection.
